PRESSURE AUTOCLAVES

BUCHI LABORATORY AUTOCLAVES
Buchiglasuster have a wide range of laboratory autoclaves for research and development, and small pilot plant applications. Autoclaves vary in sizes from 0,25ml to 20litres, in glass or steel. Options are available dependant on your application.
Typical Users include the following industries: Petrochemical, Paint, Synthetic Products, Pharmaceutical, Refinery Processes, Plastics.
Models available are as follows:

SMALL SCALE REACTORS
These pressure autoclaves are excellent components for small-scale trials and guarantee full operator safety. They are available as miniclave drive models with compact magnetic drives. For these units, Büchi offers a comprehensive line of glass and steel vessels.
MINICLAVE
Suitable for chemical reactions in aqueous and organic media up to 10 bar at 100°C or 6 bar at 150°C. Capacity up to 200ml.
TINY CLAVE
Capacity of 10 & 25ml. Suitable for pressure up to 10 bar & Temperatures up to 150°

BÜCHI PICOCLAVE
The picoclave is a complete small scale reactor with various stirrer vessels up to 300ml. Different volumes of glass or metal vessels are quickly interchangeable with the quick action closure, without the need for tools

STIRRED LABORATORY AUTOCLAVES: Ecoclave 075 / 150
Two high-torque drives with integrated magnetic couplings are available for the ecoclave. Both are free of exposed rotating components to ensure absolute tightness. Four different vessel types with capacities of up to 3L are available for installation at the cover plate. Integrated polycarbonate sliding panels provide full operator safety when working with glass pressure vessels.

BÜCHI BEP 280 AUTOCLAVE
The stirred laboratory BEP 280 can be equipped with steel pressure vessels from 0.5 to 20dm3 at any time. The maximum operating pressures are between 10 and 60 bars depending on vessel size. Büchi stirrer vessels are made of borosilicate glass, which enables you to observe pressurized chemical reactions.

BÜCHI POLYCLAVE
The polyclave is the latest and most complete of the Büchi autoclaves, it combines proven technology with innovation. Its features are compelling: 4 vessel types (glass/metal), with volumes up to 3L can be used at the same unit. Quick-action closure for pressures up to 60bar, depending on the vessel. A vessel lift provides easy handling. The new compact drive consisting of the cyclone 300 with an integrated magnetic coupling is powerful and dynamic enough to solve all stirring problems.

BÜCHI KILOCLAVE

The Büchi kiloclave is an ideal complement to our autoclave product line, designed for larger volumes. The lift makes it a very convenient apparatus. The components – such as vessels and cover peripherals – are configured according to the customers need.

ELECTRIC HEATING FOR BÜCHI REACTORS

We extended our product range with Type 3E and Type 4E stirrer vessels with electric heating mantle for volumes of 0.5 to 20.0 liter depending on the choice of reactor system.

BÜCHI INERTCLAVE

The unique design of this cyclone inertclave is based on a magnetic coupling. The main difference from a traditional magnetic coupling is that the driving magnet is rotating inside the stationary glass tube and the paddle stirrer has the magnets on the outside. All wetted parts are made of glass, PTFE or PFA.

APPLICATIONS

• The cyclone inertclave is for applications where conventional stirrer shaft glands or magnet bar stirrers cannot be used due to the high expectations for leak tightness or better mixing capabilities.

HIGH-PRESSURE AUTOCLAVE: limbo
Interchangeable reactors with volumes of 100 / 200 / 285 / 450ml, electrical heating block with integrated cooling coils, agitator drives with integrated magnetic couplings, for reactions up to 350°C / 350bar.

The unit is equipped with a 2-step lift for vessel and heating. The cover plate comes with 5 x ¼” Gi threads and tube fittings. The reactor vessel incorporates an electrically heated aluminium block and an integrated cooling coil. The lift can be operated electrically or manually for easy lifting, lowering, or tilting of the pressure vessels.

CHEMICAL REACTORS

The current “chemReactors” line comprises 8 models, from 15L (compact version, height max. 215cm, for laboratories) up to 250L (nominal reactor capacity). All reactor vessels provide full visibility for inspection. We supply the suitable glassware for every application. Depending on the available space, the condensers can be arranged horizontally, vertically, or as tubular heat exchangers for larger volumes. A wide choice of options is available.
