BROOKFIELD SERVICE FACILITY
With the recent acquisition of the Brookfield Agency in South Africa, we have gone to a great deal of effort to provide world class facilities for the service and calibration of all Brookfield Viscometers with a turnaround time of between 48 and 60 hours. Tiaan Steyn has received service training at the Brookfield Service Centre in Middleboro, Massachusetts in the USA and our service facilities are in line with those of Brookfield Engineering Laboratories in the USA.
Brookfield Engineering Labs recommend our annual Calibration & Certification Service (C&CS) for your laboratory instruments to ensure optimum operating conditions. Monitoring & Control Laboratories can perform this service on site at your facility or you can return your instrument to our Repairs Department in Johannesburg at the address below.

Our Service Department will inspect for wear, perform a cleaning and adjustment of the internal mechanisms, replace pivot support and pointer shaft (if required) and straighten spindles (if required). We calibrate and certify (in writing) that your instrument is operating within proper Brookfield specifications. This certification states that your instrument has calibrated with standards, which are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). We will automatically remind you when it is time to perform the next annual Calibration & Certification Service. For Texture Analysers, we also inspect for wear, clean, adjust and lubricate internal mechanisms, and adjust if necessary, the zero and span for proper load cell performance. Certified calibration weights can also be purchased for your texture analyser.
The service centre at Monitoring & Control Laboratories is the only Brookfield Accredited Service & Calibration Facility in Southern Africa and we offer the highest level of service.
Technical support and service is also available for our full range of products and is managed by Kerserie Govender who is assisted by Vaughn Perry and Vusi Mashinini.
